Voice at Ease is a gentle, welcoming two-hour workshop that explores singing as a way of connecting body, breath, and voice, rather than striving for performance or perfection.
I’ll begin by having us introduce ourselves and do a guided body scan to cultivate calm awareness. From there, I’ll explore simple exercises to help you understand posture, breathing, and voice production.
I will offer optional hands-on guidance to support posture and body awareness, always with your consent and only if you’re comfortable.
I’ll move into relaxed vocal warm-ups and easy semi-improvised songs based on simple repeating patterns. You’re free to sing, try things out, listen, or simply observe.
After a tea break, we’ll have time for conversation, questions and reflection before closing together.
No prior singing experience is needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to explore your own voice. The aim is not to become an impressive singer, but to discover a freer, calmer relationship with your own voice.
